Our Story

SIP & SCRIPT STARTED AS AN IDEA BETWEEN TWO FRIENDS AND BOSTON CALLIGRAPHERS, MEG AND JULIE.

Sip & Script® began in 2015 when Meg Chaloner and Julie Mancini, hosted a casual calligraphy class that unexpectedly sold out within a week.

Seeing how much the community loved it, they expanded their events the following year, partnering with local businesses and venues across the Boston area.

Today, more than 100 talented instructors bring Sip & Script® classes to cities nationwide. Our mission is to cultivate creativity through the art of calligraphy, offering fun, supportive, and accessible workshops for all skill levels. Sip & Script® is all about connecting people through the joy of lettering.
